The Benevolent Patriotic Order of DOES of the United States of America are a National Organization of members with the desire to work in harmony with the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and dedication to the principles of Patriotism, Charity, Loyalty, and Love.
The Order has been an active part of communities and Elks Lodges across the country for over 80 years. Activities include charitable works, patriotic demonstrations, and social functions to promote hospitality and a spirit of love and fellowship.
The benevolent work of this Order is virtually beyond compare. The annual Benevolence Report given at the Grand Lodge Convention grows steadily each year and totals hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on charity as well as many thousands of hours spent in unselfish service.
Each year, the Grand Lodge Public Relations Committee selects a charitable project in which all Droves can participate. With the collective strength of all Droves, the organization can raise significant funds and in doing so, make a difference.
For the past 10 years, the committee has elected to support Dogs for the Deaf. Because of this benevolence and generosity, Dogs for the Deaf has been able to continue its mission of rescuing dogs and helping people.
Thank you, Benevolent Patriotic Order of DOES!
"The Executive Council of the Grand Lodge Benenvolent, Patriotic Order of Does of the USA has authorized me to send another donation to help train the dogs you rescue."
