Career Change Dogs

Career Change Dogs are wonderful dogs who are happy and healthy but just not suited to working for a living. These dogs make loving pets and companions and are looking for their forever homes.

If you are interested in adopting a Career Change Dog, please complete our application (see below) and our staff will contact you when we have a dog that might be right for you. Our primary concern is the find the most suitable match for both the dog and the new owner.

Each of these dogs has been screened for temperament, provided medical care, has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and put on a high quality, nutritious diet.

We do not charge for our Career Change Dog adoptions, but we gladly take donations.

Because Dogs for the Deaf is located in southern Oregon, Career Change Dogs are usually adopted to homes within driving distance of our facility. If you live outside the area, we encourage you to visit your local animal shelter when looking for a dog to add to your family.
