Our Dogs:   Career Change Dogs

Career Change Dogs - Wonderful Dogs that make loving pets and companions.

If you are interested in adopting a Career Change Dog from Dogs for the Deaf, please complete the Career Change Dog Application, and our staff will contact you when we have a dog that might be right for you. Our primary concern is to find the most suitable 'match' for both the dog and the new owner.

For a variety of reasons, some of the dogs we rescue from shelters just aren't cut out for our other programs, but they'd love to be somebody's faithful companion.

When a dog isn't able to complete one of our other programs, he or she becomes a Career Change Dog, ready to be adopted to a responsible, caring home.

Each of these dogs has been screened for temperament, provided medical care, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and put on a high quality, nutritious diet. We do not charge for our Career Change Dog adoptions, but we gladly take donations.

Because Dogs for the Deaf is located in Southern Oregon, Career Change Dogs are usually adopted to homes within driving distance of our facility. If you live outside the area, we encourage you to visit your local shelter when looking for a dog to add to your family.

Meet Cedar
Cedar

As you can see from her photo, Cedar is a gorgeous 3 1/2 year old female Lab mix. She enjoys going on outings and is good in the car. This beautiful girl would make a great jogging or walking partner.

In her previous home, Cedar lived with a cat. She is good with other dogs and with older children. Cedar has wonderful house manners.

For more information on Cedar, call Judy B. at 541-826-9220 or send her an email.
