Dogs for the Deaf is currently recruiting for an
Dogs for the Deaf, Inc. is seeking a full-time Event Coordinator. This individual develops and coordinates special events to generate funds, attendance and/or increased donors, volunteers and or/clients for the organization. Identifies types of special events appropriate to the organization’s image and purpose; plans budget, locates and books facilities, food, entertainment and equipment; solicits donations, participation; plans and organizes admission and/or ticket sales; coordinates activities to ensure the event’s success; coordinates promotions and marketing of events with Marketing & Communications Manager. Works with Volunteer/Ambassador/VIP Coordinator to recruit/manage volunteers associated with events.
This position reports to the Development Director and has no direct reports.
Compensation reflects experience. Excellent benefits package.
