Our Field of Memories project began in 2005 offering all of our Dogs for the Deaf family the opportunity to contribute to a permanent memorial in honor of a loved one or pet. Each spring, on our beautiful grounds at the base of Lower Table Rock Mountain in Southern Oregon, hundreds of daffodils bloom surrounding large river rock memorial stones inscribed with the names of people and pets that you have honored.
In the fall of 2008, we re-landscaped the Field of Memories, adding walkways, a bridge, and a donated gazebo. The pictures on this page are of the new, improved Field of Memories with the daffodils in bloom.
We encourage you to make a donation to the Field of Memories. Remember a loving pet and companion, or a beloved relative or friend by contributing to our Field of Memories memorial garden.
For a contribution of $75.00 or more you can memorialize your person(s) or pet(s) with their names on your own individual stone to be placed in the garden with a daffodil.
After each stone is placed in the garden, you can view your loved one's name or your individual stone on our website. We will also list the names of your memorials to either a person or a pet in an upcoming newsletter.
