Determine stock or securities you wish to donate.
Contact your broker to inform them of the transfer.
Our brokerage account is with Fidelity Investments. Please call Dogs for the Deaf (Pam or Leanne) for account information.
Regardless of the method of transfer, the donor should contact us to be sure we have all the necessary information about the gift for acknowledgement and auditing purposes. A letter or email is acceptable with the following information:
Donor’s full name and complete mailing address
Name of broker/brokerage house
Description of securities/stocks to be transferred
Date of transfer (date you make the order)
Any restrictions you wish regarding the purpose of the gift
