We want all Good Sam members to know how important their support is to the success of our mission of saving dogs and helping people and how much we appreciate their hard work. Good Sammers, with their dedication to helping others, are making a miraculous difference in the lives of both people and dogs by supporting Dogs for the Deaf, Inc.
Two weeks before the June 2012 Samboree, Connecticut Good Sam Director Sandy B. announced that if members raised $1,500.00 for DFD by the end of their Samboree, she would let them shave her head. To Sandy's, and DFD’s, amazement, her challenge was met. Talk about methods to motivate people, this goes way beyond the call of duty. Thank you Sandy!

"I'm writing to thank the SAMMAMISH SAMS for sponsoring my 2nd Hearing Dog. I had my 1st one for 13 years.
I'm 82 years old and my wife and I live in Texas and come to Washington State each year to visit with our children (4), grandchildren (14), and great-grandchildren (8). I lost my hearing in the Air Force in 1958 around jets.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you.
Keep up the good work."
Ronald G., Texas/Washington State

David D., Washington State Good Sam Coordinator, and his brother Darrell visted us and camped in the parking lot while also doing a little sightseeing in southern Oregon. While here, Dave met with Robin Dickson and Kimberly Miller and presented DFD with donations totaling $11,000.00! He also brought things to help care for the dogs and a variety of items we can use for fundraising.
