Apple Pie is actually a 6-pound Chihuahua-mix that helps the 72-year-old deaf Glendale resident with daily living, following five months of training in Oregon after being saved from being euthanized at an animal shelter in Fresno.

Editor's Note - we received this e-mail from Hearing Dog Client, Karen...

On January 3, 2012, Cherelle and I gave a presentation for DFD to the Corvallis, Oregon, After Five Rotary Club.

If you look closely at the photo you will see a couple of people watching Cherelle intently. As always, everyone was most impressed with our girl.
