Ways YOU can help:

• Have a "Party with a Purpose" - ask friends to bring items from our Doggie Wish List instead of gifts.
• Check out some of the fun and different ways to help DFD rescue dogs and train them to help people with hearing loss and a variety of other challenges in our helpful brochure, Fundraising Ideas. • Flower Power! Fundraising with flower bulbs - learn more HERE
• Tell people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a child on the autism spectrum about the programs DFD has for them.
• Tell people who have special needs about the programs DFD has for them.
• Educate the public about Assistance Dogs and the access laws concerning them.
• Give a presentation at your group or club. DFD has materials available for presentations.
• Help raise donations through club projects, memorials, or special gifts in honor of a birthday, wedding or other event.
• Make a bequest to DFD, ensuring that your love of dogs and desire to help lives on for generations to come.
• Purchase gifts from our Gift Catalog. There are a wide variety of items for all ages of dog lovers and DFD supporters.
• Get involved in our Toys for Joy program. Check out our Doggie Wish List to see what kinds of toys and treats our special dogs in training would love to receive.
• Subscribe to our quarterly magazine, the Canine Listener. After you've read the articles, pass it on to a friend or family member, or "forget it" in a waiting room.
• Volunteer at our facility, if you live nearby, or as one of our Volunteer Ambassadors.
