Hattie's First Easter

Dear Carrie,
Hattie's first Easter
Hattie the Hearing Dog enjoying the contents of her Easter basket.

Mom said I could write to you and tell you all about my Easter.

The Easter Bunny came to our house! I was so excited, I had my very own special Easter basket to play with and explore. The basket was full of Easter eggs that had some pupperoni bits, peanut butter biscuits, and blackberries hidden inside of each egg. There was a special doggie lollipop and a big chewie in my basket too. My Nan even got me my very own stuffed animal peep. It chirps and hops and I play with it. Can you tell I have been a very good girl?

My very first Easter was awesome! I was so happy that my tail never stopped wagging. I had fun exploring through the Easter basket. I would pick out an egg and gently squeeze it in my mouth. The egg would pop open and out came my special treats! Then I lay on the floor like a good girl with the kitties while Nan, Pap and my Mom ate their Easter dinner.

I have a lot to be thankful for and I am so happy here! Thank you for sending me to my forever home. I love my mom and I love working my sounds.

Hugs and tail wags to you!
Love,
Hattie pawprint
