Nestled in the beautiful Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, DFD is an interesting, unique and inspiring place to visit. This is the headquarters of the oldest Hearing Dog training center in the world and the place where dogs are also trained for people with other disabilities and challenges (see Our Dogs).
We encourage both out of town visitors and local residents to learn more about our special work by taking a tour of our facility. On the tour, you will watch an informative video and see one of the dogs show how we train the dogs in our special training apartments. After your tour, be sure to browse through our gift shop and check out our special DFD merchandise.
Tours of the Dogs for the Deaf training facility are offered Monday through Friday.
Tours take approximately 45 minutes. We are not open Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Dogs for the Deaf is accessible to people who are disabled.

"For several years we have been bringing our out of town guests out for a tour of DFD. They always enjoy it. The friends we brought out had never heard of DFD. When we went to church, they then were telling others about what they had learned on their tour. Bless you for the good work you do." ~ Ray & Maxine M., Oregon
"Thank you for the nice visit and tour we had in October." ~ Theresa W., Arizona
