    Judy Springborn's Apple Pie would put others to shame, and not because of some top-secret recipe. Apple Pie is actually a 6-pound Chihuahua-mix that helps the 72-year-old deaf Glendale resident with daily living, following five months of training in Oregon after being saved from being euthanized at an animal shelter in Fresno.

Hello,

We are very special dogs who are working hard learning to become Hearing Dogs, Autism Assistance Dogs, Program Assistance Dogs, Miracle Mutts (special dogs for special people), Harmony's Hounds (dogs with special needs), and Career Change Dogs. Our trainers tell us we have a special mission in life and we want to do well!

We would like some cool doggie toys or yummy doggie treats to make our days and nights enjoyable in the kennels - and it sure would make our work a lot more fun! We like the soft latex and plush toys best. The staff at DFD made a wish list for us because, with our paws, we can't type. You can CLICK HERE to read our Wish List.
