Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) and United Way

• CFC is an annual fundraising drive held by federal employees and military personnel each year to help charities. Donations are made through payroll deduction. Dogs for the Deaf is listed in the "Animal Charities of America" section, #10969.
• United Way improves lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities around the world to advance the common good.

Through the generous support of CFC and United Way members, Dogs for the Deaf is able to continue to rescue dogs from shelters and train them to help people with a variety of disabilities and challenges including hearing loss, autism, and other challenges.

Matching Gift Donors

Corporate matching gifts are a simple way for you to make a larger gift to DFD. By taking advantage of your company's matching gift program, you can generate double or even triple the value when your company matches your gift. Many companies allow retired employees to also match donations.

Check with the Human Resources Department at your company to find out if they have a matching gift program and what the policies and guidelines are. Some of them will have a form you need to fill out and enclose with your gift to DFD, and some have the application process online. Some companies even offer payroll deductions to make it more affordable for you to make a larger gift.

Many companies will even match donations for both employees AND their spouses.

After we receive your form and contributions (or notification from your company), we will verify the amount and date, and return it to your employer.

It's that simple... you just doubled your donation!
