Dogs for the Deaf has been very honored to have faithful, generous donors who are committed to helping us achieve our mission of rescuing dogs and helping people live more independent lives. In addition to their annual donations, may have also supported us through their estate plans by including us in their will or trust, insurance policy, or other means of charitable giving. These special gifts have helped us to purchase equipment, make capital improvements at our training facility and kennels, purchase property and build our existing facility, and provide on-going operational support. Funds received through the Guardian Society have also helped us to establish our Endowment Fund which greatly increases the long-term financial stability and future growth of Dogs for the Deaf.
“I give to DFD because of my deep love for dogs coupled with my lifelong desire to help others in a meaningful way. Your bequest to DFD can do it all – rescue dogs, serve people, and stretch your dollars to the maxs, making a huge difference. The leadership at DFD is so impeccably accountable and responsible in every way – now, and in the future.” ~ Marian M., Guardian Angel, Nevada
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have already joined our family as members of the Guardian Society. These special friends have made an incredible impact on the success and future of Dogs for the Deaf.
In recognition, as a member of the Guardian Society, each person receives a beautiful folder with an official, personalized certificate identifying them as a Guardian Society member. This recognition piece is tastefully done and is suitable for display in your home or office.
Guardian Society members also receive special invitations and communications updating them on the news of our work in rescuing, training, and placing these canine heroes with those individuals who need them most.
We hope you consider joining this elite group of individuals who have the foreshight and dedication to sustain the work at Dogs for the Deaf for many generations to come. All it takes to join is to include Dogs for the Deaf in your estate plans with a gift of at least $5,000.00. As a Guardian Society member, you give a second chance to these extraordinary dogs and bless the lives of the people who depend on them for their daily routine, safety, and well-being.
Once you complete your estate plans, please contact us to let us know. We would like to thank and recognize you for your generosity by including you in the Guardian Society.
